"Retired"
One morning I was working peacefully when my boss called me into her office. An hour later I was standing outside the front door carrying a box.
I made the journey from "unemployed" to "retired" over a three year period with only a few weeks of "contractor" work as punctuation.
I found that I was better prepared than I thought. I had places to go and people to see already established. Best of all, I had my orchids.
I start the day thinking about orchids and my orchid blog. Most days I have something to share about what is going on in the greenhouse.
