Plant List

This vandaceous genus can be found from India southeast to the Philippines. It is a monopodial genus with leathery leaves that support fragrant racemes of spicy flowers. They like indirect light and even moisture. They grow well in wood slat baskets with little or no potting material. If humidity is not high enough, a very open, fast draining medium which allows the roots to dry rapidly after watering can be added. It will grow massive fleshy roots entangled throughout the basket if given uniform water and fertilizer.
